Our newsletter, 27 August 2026 Green lights awaited on two LNG projects Canada and BC are awaiting vital go-ahead decisions on two LNG -export projects: expansion of LNG Canada at Kitimat and the proposed Ksi Lisims LNG project with the Nisga’a Nation in northern BC. For LNG Canada, the partners say the green light for Phase 2 expansion of the current plant could come by the end of the year.
