Ksi Lisims LNG gets green lights

The Nisga’a Nation’s planned Ksi Lisims LNG project was in headlines nationally and internationally as it got a vital green light from the BC government.

BC cabinet ministers Tamara Davidson (environment and parks) and Adrian Dix (energy and climate solutions) made their decision after reviewing the environmental assessment by BC’s Environmental Assessment Office (EAO): ow.ly/8pEN50WXu8v

The two ministers imposed 23 conditions that Ksi Lisims LNG must follow over the lifespan of the project. These include a greenhouse-gas emissions plan requiring Ksi Lisims to meet the province’s net-zero policy.

The federal government also came onside, giving its green light after accepting the environmental assessment that was conducted by BC on behalf of both governments:  ow.ly/hhIz50WXtxj

Our LinkedIn page is back

Our LinkedIn page was blocked by LinkedIn on July 16, depriving our 25,232 followers of news and postings, without explanation. It took until Sept. 17 — after numerous unanswered messages to LinkedIn, and then some outside help — for us to be able to reinstate the page.

At that point, we found we were down to 24,293 followers, but within minutes we got our 24,294th fan. And we now have 25,424, the highest number ever.
